Summer Tuition Rates

Summer classes will run for six weeks starting June 27th and ending August 8th. There will be a makeup class held on August 8th since there will be no classes on July 4th.  Each dancer enrolled in summer dance classes will get to perform in the Roy Days Parade on August 5th.

Tuition for summer classes is due before the dancer’s first class.  Classes are either one hour or 30 minutes per week.

Summer Tuition Disclosure

Tuition is due before the dancerʼs first class of the summer and must be paid in full for the entire six-week session. A fee of $15.00 will be charged for late tuition. Tuition rates are per class for the entire summer. Rates are not pro-rated per class attended.  There is NO referral discount for summer classes (New referral discounts will start Fall 2017).

**Since summer tuition is a one-time charge, we do not offer referral discounts during the summer session.  If you refer new students to our summer program and they continue to take dance during the fall, you will receive your referral discount during the fall session ($5-10 off each your tuition each month for each new student referred).

Summer Registration Fees

There is a new student registration fee of $30.00 ($15 for additional family members). This includes an Energy Dance parade top!  Current students have NO registration fee for summer classes, but will need to pay $10.00 for a parade top.

Payment Methods

Tuition must be paid either through automatic payment, cash or cashier’s check. You may also pay of your invoice that will be emailed to you following your registration. Energy Dance Company does not accept personal checks for payment.

Automatic Payment

If you choose to pay through automatic payment, please come into the Energy Dance Company office to fill out a new auto-pay form.  We immediately input your information into our secure system, then shred the form so your information is safe.  You account will be charged for the entire summer session on or before July 1st 2017.  If your account declines payment, you have till your second lesson to make a cash payment to avoid a $15 late fee.

There are two payment methods to choose from:

  1. ACH Bank Draft (Checking or Savings Account).  There are no additional fees in conjunction with this payment option. Declined ACH payments are considered a “Returned Check”. Returned Check fee’s are $15.00 each.
  2. Credit or Debit Recurring Charge (Credit or Debit Card).  There is an additional 3% charge per transaction.

Cash Payment/Cashiers Check

Cash payments must be made by your first lesson to avoid a $15 late fee.  Cash payments must be placed in an envelope with a “Cash Payment Form” listing dancer’s full name, class, payment amount, and what payment is for.  Before you drop your cash in the tuition box, please stop and get a receipt at the front desk. We do not guarantee cash payments without “Cash Payment Forms” or a receipt.  Cash payments must be placed in the tuition box in the studio foyer. Energy Dance Company does not accept personal checks.

Discounts

Multiple Child Discount:

Each additional child will receive $5.00 off tuition. (1st child: $60.00, 2nd child: $55.00, 3rd child: $50.00, etc)

Loyalty Program/Referral Discount:

During the school session we orrder a referral discount to our loyal dance families!  Since the summer session is so short, we do not offer referral discounts during the summer.  New students that are referred to the studio in the summer will roll-over to be new referrals beginning in the fall (that way you get 10 months of a discount rather than just 6 weeks)!

Beginning September of 2017, for each child referred, you will receive a discount off one child’s tuition as long as the referred dancer is taking class.

0-2 years at Energy Dance Company: Receive $5.00 off your monthly tuition for every new student you refer.

3-4 years at Energy Dance Company: Receive $7.00 off your monthly tuition for every new student you refer.

5+ years at Energy Dance Company: Receive $10.00 off your monthly tuition for every new student you refer.

 

 2015-2016 Dance Season

Tuition is due at the first rehearsal of each month. It can be paid by the month or the year. Tuition paid for entire year in full by October 1st 2015 will receive a 10% discount.  Tuition must be placed in the tuition box in the studio or paid by auto pay by the first lesson (or 10th) of each month.

Tuition Rates

30 minutes a week- $20.00 a month

1 hour a week- $35.00 a month

1.5 hours a week- $48.00/month

2 hours a week- $60.00 a month

2.5 hours a week- $70.00 a month

3 hours a week- $80.00 a month

3.5 hours a week- $88.00 a month

4 hours a week- $95.00 a month

4.5 hours a week- $100.00 a month

5 hours a week- $110.00 a month

*After 5 hours a week, any additional classes are +$15.00 a month

Energy Extreme Team

$110.00 a month/5 hrs of dance each week + $40.00 monthly “Extreme Fee” which includes all additional fees for costumes, tights, shoes, competitions, etc.

Energy Mini & Junior Teams

$80.00 a month/3 hrs of dance each week + $20.00 monthly “Extreme Fee” which includes all additional fees for costumes, tights, shoes, competitions, etc.

Energy Prep Team

$60.00 a month/2 hrs of dance each week

Fees

Registration

There is a $30.00 registration fee for each dancer enrolled at Energy Dance Company.  Dancers will receive an Energy Dance Company t-shirt upon registering.  Additional children from the same family will have a $15.00 registration fee.

As long as a dancer is continually dancing, he/she will not need to pay another registration fee.  Current dancers (Summer 2014) do not have to pay a new registration fee to sign up for fall classes.   Dancers to take a break from dancing, will need to pay a new registration fee when they come back to Energy Dance Company.

Late Fee

Tuition increases by $15.00 after the 10th of the month.  Tuition is based off of 4 rehearsals each month. Tuition will remain the same for the entire 2014-2015 season.

Costume Fees

Each dancer registered will have to opportunity to perform in the spring recitals.  There is a costume and costume fee in conjunction with this.  Costume fees average about $60.00 each.  Dancers may also be required to purchase tights (average $15) and dance shoes (average $20) as part of their costume as well.  Dancers who are in multiple classes may have the opportunity to rent a costume at a discounted rate rather than purchasing their own costume.

Recital Fees

Each dancer who participates in our Spring Recital will have a $30 registration fee.  Additional children from the same family will have a $15 recital fee.  Each family will receive 4 tickets to the recital with payment of the recital fee.  The recital fee helps cover the expensive cost of renting the WSU Browning Center and paying it’s professional staff to run our recital and rehearsal.
